Dr. Carlene Rosado-Martin received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Before joining the staff of Primary Eyecare in 2006, Dr. Rosado-Martin worked as an optometrist in the U.S. Air Force, where she received a Meritorious Service Medal as well as awards for Medical Group Officer of the Year and Medical Group Optometrist of the Year. In addition, Dr. Rosado-Martin participated in a humanitarian mission to El Salvador to examine patients for eye disease and eyeglasses.
Dr. Rosado-Martin is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and a member the American Optometric Association and the Virginia Optometric Association.
Dr. Rosado-Martin likes to spend her free time volunteering for organizations such as the SPCA, as well as traveling and exercising.
