The Women of Primary Eyecare Complete the Charlottesville Women’s 4 Miler!

On September 4th, 2010, five women from the staff of Primary Eyecare ran and completed the Charlottesville Women’s 4 Miler to benefit breast cancer research.

Dr. Janice DiGirolamo, Dr. Adrianna Hempelmann, Michelle Goodwin, Sharon Taylor, Anna Garrison, and Michelle’s daughter, Ashley Goodwin, ran the famous Women’s 4 Miler on Garth Road at Foxfields with 3500 other women from Central Virginia. All of our ladies finished the race in great times, but Dr. Janice and Dr. Adrianna really made a splash by finishing the 4 mile course in under 30 minutes, placing them in the top for their age groups and for the race as a whole!

We are so proud of our staff for making the commitment to this amazing cause. Primary Eyecare was also able to participate as a sponsor for the event, providing support from our business as well as from the individuals on our staff. Congratulations to all the women who participated!
