Fun Optical Illusions for Everyone!
The way our brains perceive certain images can sometimes be a bit tricky. Optical illusions are visually perceived images that differ from objective reality. Meaning, we see and perceive something to be one way, but when we measure it or compare it to a known standard, it differs from our perception. Check out the image on the left - Would you say those lines are straight or slanted? Use a straight edge, line it up with the bottom of your monitor, and you'll find that the lines are exactly straight, despite our perception that they are slanted at an angle.
