On Saturday April 3rd, two of Primary Eyecare's optometrists started and finished the 2010 Charlottesville 10 Miler. Drs. Adrianna Hempelmann and Janice DiGirolamo started the race at 7.45am and pushed through to finish the ten mile course that started and finished at U Hall, passed Scott Stadium, and circled the entire length of the Downtown Mall.
The 2010 Charlottesville Ten Miler proceeds benefited the following organizations: The Emergency Food Bank, the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank and Meals on Wheels. Canned food items were collected at the race site as well.
