Primary Eyecare is honored to serve the Charlottesville and Albemarle communities by raising awareness of vision and eye health issues, providing comprehensive medical eye care services, and participating in local outreach initiatives. Our family owned and operated business has been serving this community for over 27 years!

Throughout the past year, we have enjoyed getting to know many new faces within the local community. Several of our staff members have participated in local health and wellness awareness fairs (including gatherings at the University of Virginia, GE Intelligent Platforms, and Albemarle County) promoting eye health awareness and the importance of seeing your eye doctor each and every year.

We were also excited to visit Our Lady of Peace, a local retirement community, where we met with the residents to chat about eye care and eye health issues. We also provided  complimentary frame cleaning and adjustment services while we were there, and the residents loved it!

We always have a great time sponsoring and participating at the 4 the Wounded 5K race in Charlottesville over the summer, and we are happy to support our wounded veterans in such a fun way! Dr. Janice has participated two years in a row, and she’s looking forward to next year! Over the years, Primary Eyecare has been proud to support a number of local events and organizations, and we hope to add to the list in the future!

If you are interested in partnering with Primary Eyecare to help spread awareness of eye health and vision wellness information, please contact us today – we’d love to help!
