Every Memorial Day, we are provided with an opportunity to remember those brave men and women who so boldly gave their lives to protect the freedoms of our country. In an effort to show our support, we proudly sponsored the 4 the Wounded 5K race that was held in Charlottesville on June 1st.

This particular race was started in 2011 to raise money for Wounded Warrior Project, which provides programs and services to tens of thousands of service men and women. The Charlottesville community has been extremely supportive, enabling them to raise $167,000 in the race’s first two years.

Primary Eyecare is proud to have fielded a team of runners for this event, and we were impressed to see so many of you there supporting a wonderful cause. They even had a Kids Fun Run, so the event was fun for the whole family!
